No-Slam League Guidelines
A slam is defined as an overhand shot struck with excessive force. Excessive force is discretionary; therefore, the following rule will be followed:
“If the receiving team feels that a slam shot has been played against them, they will make the call and play will stop. No points will be awarded, and the point will be replayed.”
Hard shots directed towards the opponent’s upper body should be avoided.
If at any time a player feels that the opposition is hitting shots at speeds hthat make them uncomfortable or unsafe, please inform them.
